Morrow SP7 Upgrade.

Currently using Morrow SP4 Speaker Cables on Low Frequency (bass) in bi-amped system. Various Speakers used, at the moment Revel Ultima Studio. The Morrow's sound best of the cables I have driving low frequencies. At the moment Morrow have 60% off in their trade up program, (I would trade up SP2's I have in a budget system). Anyone have experience going from SP4 to SP7's, and how much better? What other alternatives for bass frequencies would you suggest if not the SP7's?

Look, I don't want to belabour the point, or try to make anyone feel bad, so I'll end my participation with this response.

My point is, many companies just like MS Audio steal the technology from legitimate companies that have spent DECADES researching and honing their designs, struggling to establish themselves in the marketplace.

Then they see their life's work being copied and sold for super cheap by some Chinese based company and their customer base eroding as people go for the rip off products.

PS Audio, Kimber, Audioquest, Monster and the list goes on and on.

I'll never buy most product that ships out of Hong Kong or China for this reason.  They are stealing from our economies and taking advantage of our desire to save a buck.
Or on the other hand, making a very fine product at a very cost effective price. I know I am far better off for purchasing these and getting better sound is what we should all be aiming for.
Meanwhile, back at the topic,... I was listening last night to random tracks on the server, and Sheryl Crow's "Home" came on.  Whoa!!!  Repeated chills up my spine, huge soundstage, emotional impact in spades.  It was almost overwhelming.  I wish every bit of music I like would hit me like that.  This cannot be completely attributed to the MA-3s, but at least they didn't ruin it.  And that, I think, is all we can ever ask of a wire.
Excellent bondmanp. Received a batch of CD's yesterday, so had a long listening session. The SP7's have really settled in nicely, getting bass reproduction I never thought was possible from CD playback. I've tried a few different combo's and the SP7's on bass & Cullen's on Mid/high is definitely doing it for me.
Some of Sheryl Crow's stuff is really done well.  A good recording really excels with a decent system for sure.
I ordered the MA5 on Sept 3, with Eichmanns and a 10 day burn and from what I've read, arrival could take almost a month.  In the mean time, I ordered a pair of MA1.1 since their trade in program makes prices so attractive.  The second pair I've only asked for their 2 day burn, so I might well receive the 2nd pair before the first.

Either way I'm psyched as I've only had the MA1 and MA3.
213runnin - Yes, these are bespoke cables, so the full three weeks plus burn in time is not unusual.  My second order from Morrow actually took a bit longer than a month.  Patience is not something us audiophiles are known for, but, hopefully, the MA5 will be worth the wait.  Please keep us posted.
I just got an email from Morrow yesterday informing me that the cables are in the mail.  Right now I'm assuming that they are shipping both together, they should be here by October 2, so under a month with the MA5 and a ten day break in service.
I've had excellent results from my now broken-in (around 37,000 hours) Morrow cables (got one free in a promotion…another MA1…their email promotions are endless and effective). The most recent is an MA1.1 balanced cable running from my DAC to my preamp, and maybe it sounds better than the AQ it replaced, but that's hard to tell (good balanced cables in actually balanced gear often defy one's ability to hear differences), but suffice to say my system's overall sound has improved by exactly 7.2% (or 8.7% if good weed is utilized…hey…it's legal here). Worth it.
Wolf, thanks for your impressions, I've got a pair of their MA1 too.  When I use it on the preamp to amp jumpers (Nad C375BEE) the bass gets really tight.  Some might say less, but I prefer to say, "tight".  Also, highs seem cleaner or more focused.  Not sure why.

Up here in Canada we are big weed growers, but I'm afraid the strongest thing I take is maybe Advil, or caffeine in various Starbucks or Kicking Horse varieties.  Too much caffeine makes the music sound "shaky".
Okay, the Morrow MA5 came in yesterday and I've got them going from cd player to integrated amp.  Everything has improved.  Bass, vocals, highs, imaging.  I think it's really just more detail getting through, which improves everything, but it's really something.  I had the 10 day burn in, so they have 240 hours on them already.  It seems like I can turn it up more too, and it just stays clean and clear.

Note, I had a lesser cable on the pre amp jumpers, and now have the MA3, so that's gotta help too.  Both of these Morrows have the silver Eichmanns.

I thought the MA1.1 might get here first, or get shipped together with the MA5, but no dice.  I ordered them a week later, so they'll probably arrive a week later or so.
Early this year I purchased Morrow Audios MA5 interconnects terminated with Eichmanns superb silver RCAs for a headphone system consisting of Linear Tube Audio MZ2S preamplifier , ZMF Eikon phones , PS Audio Direct Stream Memory Player and Wyred4sound 2v2 LE Dac.
I did try other popular brand interconnects over the summer however the MA5 are an excellent bang for the buck with further improvement of replacing the chassis rca outputs in the dac including the chassis rca inputs of the preamp with Eichmanns silver RCAs .
It was clearly evident I was not hearing the full potential of this Ps Audios new Direct Stream Memory Player and Wyred4sounds new reference dac . You can be sure the majority of manufacturers will use inexpensive mediocre chassis inputs and outputs for cost saving reasons , most definitely Morrow Audios MA5 with silver Eichmann RCAs used in the mix are a winning combination.
No apologiy needed, in_shore.  Your post wasn't really off topic, IMHO.  Thanks.
Thanks for your thoughts on the MA5, in_shore.  The full potential, that's a good description of what the Morrow's provide.  I'm quite impressed with them, the superior detail makes me realize I could use better speakers.
231 your welcome, I use a different brand of wire in my main system and just wanted try something different with my new headphone set up which I think turned out pretty good using the MA 5 and Eichmann RCAs .
All though early into it the sound quality was inconsistent and quirky during playback and the MA5 came close to being sent back for a refund as a couple of other brands of interconnects I borrowed didn’t mess with the music like the MA5s did .
24/7 I kept a signal running through everything then one day “poof” major improvements top to bottom and I’m sure the components also benefited with that extended run in . I was and still am amazed what I’m hearing but I have to give mostof the credit too PS Audios new memory player .
Then it was a few weeks after I installed the Eichmann silver chassis RCAs that further cleaned things up , highly recommended swapping out those mediocre chassis inputs and outputs.
