Morrow Audio Speaker Cables

Came across this company and I’m curious if anyone has experience or comments with their speaker cables from a quality vs cost standpoint.  Thanks for your thoughts.

Agree, the DH Labs connectors are probably at the limit for me in terms of price/performance ratio. Anything "better" will cost far more than it is worth as far as actual contributions to the sound. Sure do love me some Furutech bling but I admit that's mostly aesthetic and I'm not so interested in paying that premium for little to no benefit.

My point was just that some of the mid level Morrow XLR interconnects tend to use basic Neutrik connectors while other brands in that price bracket are using higher quality options. Even the MA7 which starts at $1399 is still using the basic Neutrik, and one must go all the way up to the $3k to get fancier connectors. If I'm spending more than $500 or so I expect something beyond Neutrik.

Meanwhile the Morrow Audio RCA option is quite nice, and I don't find it out of place on the middle level range.

My system cabling is all Morrow. Level 6 on speakers, level 4 on everything else. I did not use their breakin service although god knows they definitely need breakin to sound their best. I chose to save the money and experience the joy of hearing them continue to improve over the weeks and months. Now that I have upgraded the amps and speakers I need to go back and upgrade the interconnects to “match” the level of the rest of the system. I’m a fan, very neutral sounding stuff.

Troutstreamnm, how did you like your sp6?  It’s been months now, they should be completely loosened up by now.

And their warranty is real. Grandkids managed to bend one of the bananas on my SP5 Biwire and they cheerfully and quickly reterminated  it. No questions asked.

Dishman442….the SP6’s are just fine and I’m happy with their performance.  However, I have been making many changes to my system (being a good audiophile) so I haven’t been able to focus on improvements associated with just the speaker cables.  My overall assessment is the SP6’s made a significant improvement over my previous inexpensive braided copper wire cables.  Enhanced definition, clarity and soundstage that was easily noticeable.  I have no intention to replace them at this point!
