Mixing subs for live music.

Hello my name is Woody and I’m new here. I have a problem and question. I have gig coming up and the place is bigger than my setup can handle. I want to know if I use two subwoofers the same brand and size, but different models would that work out Lright. One is 2000watts the other is 1000. I can back off the higher powered one. This would be my setup, two Bose L1 1S with B2 bass modules, a cerwin Vega P1800sx and cerwin Vega cvs 18s. I would run the subs in the aux. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

Erik one sub will be on each side of the stage next to a Bose setup.
Czarivey runnthe subs threw the aux will be mono. Running them this way gives me control of what come threw them, so if I have to turn the singers up I don’t turn up the subs at the same time
Whoops, I thought this wrong.

If you place both subs next to each other, you want to cut the small one's output so that both reach their maximum at the same time.

If you place them far apart, you'll want to level match them, and limit your output so that the small one never over-exerts.

Best,

E
So this means if you keep the sound balanced, you'll only have the output of 2 of your original subs. If that' enough, you'll be OK.
