I think you will be pleased in the sound improvements - the additional power from the 462 combined with going to separates I think you will notice a significant difference in music dynamics.

Upgrading from the MA 8900 integrated, and looking at the 462 ( with the c 22 pre-amp). Other recommendations to consider in this price range ($ under 20k for both pieces)? I do like the 8900, but am thinking (a) the 426 may give a more defined soundstage with a step up in detail and (b) the improvement will be immediately noticeable, and not just incremental? Driving Vandersteen Treo’s and my thought is the 8900 ( while very good) is not getting everything out of the Treo’s that the 462/c 22 could get. All thoughts appreciated. Thanks for any help!
