Yeah @roxy54, though it shouldn’t be the case it very well could be. It’s just Mazzy’s recommendation of politically-themed albums, no reason to get po’d. My goodness, why on Earth are people in this country (for those of us in the USA) so quick to get argumentative, feeling they have to "take sides"?

In the old days the rule for family gatherings was "No politics, no religion." But if a group of artists made albums in which political issues are the subject, why can’t they be mentioned without the fact that politics is involved therefore making them forbidden from even being cited as examples of same? Is even mentioning Neil Young's song "Ohio" forbidden? Would a list of albums in which religion is the subject also be forbidden? Any other subjects that are off limits?

How can Dylan's album The Times They Are A-Changin' be discussed if the political content can't be mentioned? It can't. How silly, how juvenile. No wonder much of the world views us as they do.

I believe Audiogon’s policy is no political mention of any kind.  I have had quite a few posts banned in the past because of that.

@bdp24 -- Sorry, but it’s far from just a non-political RECOMMENDATION list...read every reply in the "Comments Section". There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, but Maslov comes across as extremely Far Left and lets his hatred of Donald Trump and the GOP be known. Again, that is Maslov’s God-given and Constitutionally protected right in the United States of America, and I have no problem with him voicing his opinion.

But, Audiogon has made it clear with their actions in the past that politically themed posts are not allowed. So if posts supporting Trump are going to be deleted, then posts supporting Harris should also be deleted -- what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Or are we playing by "Washington Guidelines"...Rules For Thee, But Not For Me.
