I think that’s true about the Magicos- they’re a bit cool on top but very detailed and revealing. My goal is to add a bit of sparkle and air to the top/treble. I had B&W 803s before which were a bit ‘brighter’.
No idea about Taurus, but I think the Luxman would be really great. Everyone will jump on me for saying this but I find the Magico’s tonally to be a little cool, but very smooth in the top end. The Luxmans have a wonderful liquid mid to treble range that will complement this feature without dampening it very nicely, but they are fast and extended in the bass as well.
