LTA Ultralinear 12AU7’s

Saw an agon post with a 12AU7 chart. There are 4 12AU7’s in the LTA UL amp. Any experimenters with recommendations or thoughts?  Thanks

Add Mazda, Cifte and Radiotechnique to your list.They fall somewhere in the middle of the warm-cool spectrum

Hi affectionados, The tube list is not mine nor is it my list, It was a chart that I saw  on an agon post. Because the LTA has 4 of such tubes AND 2+2 at different stages, just looking for input as to anyone’s experience if changed brands and what ‘‘was heard.  

@TLE, your comment regrading LTA?

Don’t ignore Cryotone and Psvane Horizon and Art. New tubes and very good sounding. Reviews on YouTube. I was running Amperex and Radiotechniques in a RP-7 but am happy with the Psvane for now. Cryotones are quite pricey even for 12AU7. I have Cryotone 6SN7s for a Spatial Raven preamp.

Psvane Horizon

@jaybe, I love these and HAD high hopes. They sound amazing - no doubt. But the tube life itself is pretty short. I got a pair and one of them went bad within 6 months. Psvane honored their warranty and sent me another pair. One tube in that pair went bad in 5 months. Now I have a pair with one tube from the first purchase and the one tube from the replacement pair.

I don't think I will buy the Horizon series again. The ART is good, but will explore the Electro-Harmonix next time.
