LSA Voyager GAN Amplifier

Just got mine last week.  After 24 hours of play all I can say is that this is not your father's class D amplifier.  There is not one thing about its sound that reminds me of the class D gremlins that I do not like.  The low end filled in and now has deep impact, the midrange is the love child of a beautiful tube and clean hybrid amp - just gorgeous.  Highs are very clean and extended. Spatial cues are top notch. My system has had some damn good tube and solid state amps in it before and it has never sounded this good.  I am blown away with the quality of sound coming from class D amplification at this price point.

This 300 wpc amplifier is a real winner.....

George,
You keep spouting the technical merits of a 1.5MHz switching frequency as a requirement to excellent SQ. You should listen to an Audion to realize what a lowly 400kHz can do.
I would bet that if you listened to the gen2 Audion at 800kHz you'd forget the 1.5Mhz thing - if you had any sense.
Switching frequency of only 400kHz - for a GaN amp? Where's George when we need him??? It's all in the implementation, not just GaN slapped on the name, but AGD seems to be way ahead in this game. If they can properly run Scintillas then I'm in. I wait with anticipation...
The layout of the boards in the ASR pic leaves much to be desired. Not representative of a $3K amp that's been touted to death!
Wally would do "his" amp a service by sending ASR a properly functioning amp. In the end, I'll stay away from assemblers using off-the-shelf parts and stick with a real amp manufacturer. This amp designer dropped the ball using such a low switching frequency. What a waste of GaN's!
