Get a suggestion from Soundsmith. He's values his customers and knows his products. ( His stuff usually mates well with VPI - but that's only my suggestion)

+1, @stringreen A high compliance cartridge might mate well with a carbon fiber arm. Infinity black widow arms of carbon fiber matched well with high compliance cartridges. But the Infinity arm is nowhere near being 12”. The new Schiits Sol turntable has a ~11” carbon fiber unipivot arm, if I recall correctly. There is a thread here that discusses this turntable. A YouTube video is also out there. See this link: https://darko.audio/2017/07/the-art-of-the-tease-schiits-forthcoming-sol-turntable/ |
If you're looking for brand new then Reed will give you optional armtubes of the different mass for their "12 inch tonearms: www.reed.lt If you don't mind to get decent vintage classics then Victor UA-7082 is another great long arm (full length 389mm, effective length 282mm) |

Dear @robertsong: Here you have two excellent alternatives for what you are looking for: https://sme.co.uk/audio/product/series-v-12/ https://sme.co.uk/audio/product/series-312s/ Regards and enjjoy the MUSIC NOT DISTORTIONS, R. |
The 12" Jelco SA-750L is actually 2.5 grams lighter in effective mass than their shorter arms. The specs are 10.96 g with the standard counterweight, and 10.80 g with the heavier counterweight. This is without a cartridge. They are oil-damped, if desired. A fine arm with precision bearings, at an affordable price. That said, my dream tonearm might be a Moerch, but they're expensive. |
