Just about every pre-owned speaker out there will be in the 50% off MSRP or more price point in your age strata, without prejudice that they probably already sold at a tidy discount from new, and audio equipment depreciates quickly from the get-go.

No more than $1,500 I would say. It could be more than the 50%, for example very interested in Totem Sky and Paradigm Founder Series 40B

I owned the Totem Rainmakers for years, excellent bookshelf speakers, the newer versions like the Sky are even better.

Are you sell over those Splendors used in that price point?

I sold them for about $1200.00. The only reason I sold them is I had way too many speakers! There is a nice pair of Spendor S3/5Rs listed here for $575.00. They are not brown but they are another outstanding bookshelf speaker. But you only want Brown!
