Search the web. There used to be someone who would rebuilt these. That was about 5-6 years ago, or so, so good chance it is not an option any more. You may need to find instructions for a tweeter/cross-over change. I helped a friend change the tweeter about 10 years ago. I will see if he still has the details. He sold them a while back. Unfortunately the ferrofluid dries up and then they smoke.

Found the rebuild company. http://www.abitech.ca/ $160 CDN per speaker for rebuild and you need to do both tweeters. $320 CDN plus shipping. I would not buy a used one. |
