There is a used space tech labs QA115 regulator preamp for sale on Canuck audio mart for about $1200 it's priced at $1500 Canadian. That is a pretty good deal, that's the same model that Don Sachs owned before he built his own preamp.
Looking for a 6SN7 preamp, any word on Space-Tech Laboratory?
I stumbled onto this company http://www.thebestamp.com/ does anyone have experience with them; aka Space-Tech Laboratory. I'd like to keep my price under $1000 or so.

@invalid thanks for the input. I really like their stuff. Just need to swing it financially |
I own a space tech labs QA112 preamp a super rectifier and an older model DAC. I'm very happy with the sound. I have the preamp paired to a Krell ksa 300s and apogee duetta 2 speakers. If you buy a space tech preamp get one with a tube rectifier, and the 6sn7 signal tubes. You can add a super rectifier later, they make a big difference, even though the preamp sounded great without it, it's much better with the super rectifier. |
