Let's talk about Silver...

@richardbrand "So about 5.7% better conductivity for silver than for copper” - yep, just make Cu cable of the same gauge 6% shorter, or increase gauge by 6% and you are better than w/ silver! 

dielectric, which directly impact prop delay, used for audio cables is more important than conductor! 5ft cable with lower Dk/TAND sound better than silver / whatever conductor!

Pretty much, yes. Otherwise I have settled on solid core and well shielded as well, but honestly never compared to Litz cables in any form so I'm unable to comment on that.

I also want to mention that there’s a lot of connectors made with Rhodium. I made very pretty stuff with them, but from a conductivity and grip perspect I don’t like them. Same for nickel.

Leave Rhodium for jewelry. Stick to copper, brass, gold and silver for interconnect and speaker terminals.
