JC1 monoblocks / Maggie 1.7

As you say he should have plenty of power must be some problem there. He should be able to  blow the walls down. I had the Parasound Hint with Maggie 1.7i and never got above 10 or 11 o'clock on the volume.

The original thread was something like”I turn the volume up to eight and get very little sound out of the Maggie’s.”
Dont know now why it disappeared.  
However the JC1s should have plenty of juice to drive those speakers.  The OP needs to trouble shoot all connections and evaluate source and pre.

More information about his/her system would help.
