I’m about to purchase a near mint jadis amp, and I haven’t been able to find out much on line:-/. I can’t find the manual anywhere online. Anyone have experience with this amp? Original cost was 11K, so I’m thinking it isn’t junk.
I ran Jadis for over a decade,owning both the defy7 and the small monos..Excellent build,extremely musical..the down side for me on the defy was the cost of tube replacement and biasing.
@mommytartin, if you ever need servicing on the Jadis pre, give Tom Carione at Brooks Berdan Ltd. a call. He knows all about the brand, is a great technician, and a swell guy.
Very warm and lush sounding, if that is what you are looking for. Some of my best listening experiences included Jadis gear. That is all I have to say.
