Isolated ground versus self ground outlet

Looking for a good recommendation on an outlet. I would guess the isolated ground outlet would be better. Is it better because it reduces electrical noise? What is the difference versus a self ground.

Is it worth installing a four outlet receptacle?

Any outlet recommendations ?

@mitch2

So, if you use plastic outlet boxes and dedicated lines with hot/neutral/ground wires, you have in effect isolated your ground regardless of the outlet used, correct?

...yes, as long as you use Romex or NM (non-metallic) sheathed electrical cable to connect them to the load center.

For the outlet recommendation I posted on your other thread recommending Furutech. For a 4 outlet run you can combine a gold plated and rhodium plated…compare them, or run amps off rhodium and source off gold, or the other way around, or even combine different brand duplex outlets…gives you flexibility.

The type of ground was answered.
Now what are you asking? A four outlet receptacle as in a single quadplex type vs. using a pair of duplex outlets? Or running a line and installing a box that allows you to run 4 outlets as opposed to running a single or a duplex?
Lost here in all the ambiguity…

Isolated ground bypasses the wiring of the duplex. It's a straight run from your system ground to the grounding buss in your service panel.

I tried but was too dumb to figure it out. My question about the four outlet receptacle is a good question. Hopefully someone will offer insight.

Just in case you weren't aware, there's already a plethora of information on this subject on this website. Just type some of those key words in the search box, and I'm sure you'll find some of your answers that you're looking for.
