The angle of those stands’ legs do not suit Gaia feet. ISO acoustic feet are all supposed to stand straight.
IsoAcoustics GAIA II isolators on Solid Steel SS-6 Stand
Is anyone using GAIA isolators on their SS-5, 6, or 7 stands. I'm currently using Herbie's square fat dots as isolators between the speaker and top plate. Since I'm into woodworking, I replaced the OEM plates with 7.5 inch MDF plates. Definitely a better size and fit for B&W 805's. The OEM SS round feet are okay at best. Since we have wood floors, I really don't want to use the spikes. I should also add, I filled the legs with sand. The GAIA isolators are designed for flat mounting systems but the tripod legs on the SS stands are welded at a slight angle.
