Is Acoustic Zen still in business?

Can't get their web site to load, so was questioning if they were still around.

Sometimes when I can't get into a website I try again using Firefox--this almost always solves the 'problem'

Rbischoff: Please be a big more careful about asking that question and research it before you post it.

Although a good case can be made that asking other A'goners is a pretty reasonable way of "researching" it.

While we should not be deliberately malicious, we should not have to walk on egg-shells either.

What bothers me here is that all advice is directed at the person asking the question and none at the manufacturer or at the readers likely to read too much into it.

People who run AZ are not babies. They know that public perceptions matter and should conduct themselves accordingly. While I am not in the business of spreading rumors, protecting Acoustic Zen or any other company from consequences of its own conduct is really not my primary concern either.
I didn't even have to read the thread, I knew exactly what was going to be in it. These threads are a pet peeve of mine. Have some patience.
this is the second time someone has posted a "are they still in business" thread because the website didn't load on their machine. Please be a big more careful about asking that question and research it before you post it.

Site loads in less than 3 secs for me. For the folks having problems with the site try running fully updated virus and spyware scans. Sounds like some malware. I have been repairing computers since 1976 and those are typical symptoms of malware. Also try going to Acoustic Zen from a different computer to help prove if a problem is in you main computer.

I havent been to that site for a while but I must say the new CRESCENDO Loudspeaker looks very interesting.
They must put all of their R&D into products, not servers! Still loading...
Whatjd, I'm sure you meant no harm to Acoustic Zen but your thread title gives a potentially damaging first impression.

Did you give it some time to see if the website came back up? Did you try calling them before you posted? Even if you did, in my opinion it would still be appropriate to give them the benefit of the doubt. A more considerate thread title might be something like this:

"Acoustic Zen website down?"

I don't think you did anything malicious, but harm can be inadvertent and small audio companies are often barely making it anyway. I'm not trying to burn your biscuits here, just raise your awareness.

edit: I clicked on Tvad's link a few times. The site loads for me most of the time but it loads slowly, like it's on the verge of timing out.

Yes, I talked to Robert yesterday.
I can't get their web site to come up either, not on Mac, Windows, Safari, FireFox, or IE.
Can't figure out what's why.

Tvad...perhaps I have an old address, can you post the one you're using?

Thanks, Jim
