I can dream, can't I? Vandersteen Model 7

The cabinet and speakers are carbon fiber. I think a great deal is to get a used 5A and get the offered upgrade of the new drivers to be put into the 5A cabinet. According to Vandersteen himself, it gets you very close to the 7's. The upgrade is not available yet. I guess Vandersteen needs those new drivers to make the 7's, but he promises the upgrade will be available.

Brokers dump their poor or under performing stocks from their portfolio and add stocks that have that have performed well in the past year so when they solicit your business, it looks like they can only pick winners .... they're fluffing up their portfolio's

The question you want to ask these Fluffers is ... "So how did you do last quarter" ... and watch their necks get short, because their performance really SUXED

I second Viridian - I'd try to catch the market a bit lower if you can. I smell another buying opportunity (although we may still get a double dip recession - so be prepared to hang on). I went from cash back in to the market in Q1 2009 (some great returns to be had - I went for decent yields and some stuff still pays me well north of 10% dividends and the stocks are up too).

Over a year ago, on a thread here (which has since been deleted by admin), I warned everyone about the coming financial crisis and stockmarket plunge and teh threat to retiree savings !! (I was worried about a complete crash which thankfully has been avoided, so far, with unprecedented FED actions).

BTW - it is roughly the same statistic on my technical audio musings...perhaps we all just like to be controversial at least half the time!

Sorry folks.The 5A upgrade will only be offered to the original owners of 5A's.Vandersteen has said that everytime he talked about the upgrade.My guess is that these new carbon balsa drivers production will be very limited and 5A upgrades will only be offered for customers who made a full investment in 5A's.After taking care of Model 7 orders first of course.
