How does the Denafrips Artemis HPA compare to other amps?

Interesting, I haven't followed that saga, will have to read up on it. I don't love the way Denafrips moves so fast though. Makes resale value really tough if you keep a product of theirs for a year or two and now it's "old". Then again that seems to mainly apply to the DACs not the other stuff like Artemis. 

LAIV is having its own dependability issues if you watch the forum posts ,Alvin left and took one of Denafrips engineers that's why Denafrips one upped them with a even better New engineering crew the new Gen 15 is much better still .

Same, I was interested in their Artemis recently but decided to avoid until I see more stability with the recent changes. Their gear is usually great, but that's not the whole picture when buying something. 

Interested to see that new Laiv headphone amp, although it costs quite a bit more than the Artemis so not a fair comparison. 

... so is parting ways with their long-time distributors very recently, and some confusion about all the various versions they've got of each model; high quality gear for sure, I'd be a bit wary of Denafrips for the time being.... 

Anything Denafrips builds is High quality in build and sonics -Value is their          hall mark.
