Look at the maximum output. If you look at the spec sheet the output is much better with high impedance headphones than what you have, so yes, more likely to get better output.
Headphone Output
Hello, i have a Focusrite 4th gen 2i2 audio interface.
The headphone output impedance is rated at 50 ohms.
Focusrite have a history of being weak in this area.
The studio headphones i am using to monitor and mix are rated at 32 ohms and they do not get loud enough.
If i were to introduce a headphone amplifier - say, the Behringer HA400 - would this solve my issue?
Also, would buying 80 ohm plus rated headphones help?
Thanks
@coolrekz Gustard H26 headphones amp will resolve all your issues! you may also look to change headphones cable, to open Gustard huge damping factor performance. I am using kimber-kable 3m cable w/ my sony mdrz1r, - no loss! |
