Grammys for 2010, so far...

The grammys serve as a filter in regards to my music purchases.

Basically, if the artist/band wins a grammy, I remove that album from my "consider buying" list.

Flys, mosquitoes, and even grammys serve a purpose.

@Azaud: Yes! The "Broken Bells" album is great, too. Add it to my list.

@Raytheprinter and Kennyt: I'm glad to see that others have good taste. ;)

Maybe we should start our own awards for music? I think we have a chance of being more relevant than the Grammys....

I'm hoping "Broken Bells" (James Mercer of The Shins and Danger Mouse) gets a nod. Brilliant stuff.

I don't run out and buy the stuff People magazine recommends but sometimes they accidentally get something right.

I second the Black Keys. That is such an excellent CD. Will it get noticed at the Grammys? I think not.

"This Is Happening" by LCD Soundsystem

Are any of these Grammy material, probably not, which is why I think the Grammys are worthless. :(

All three are excellent choices, though I don't think "Mojo" is as deserving as "The List" or "Midnight Souvenirs." It's not one of my favorite Petty albums.
