Just curious why Fyne? I've listened to several of their speakers at Axpona and thought they did lots of things very well but in the bass they came across more of the one note variety. Maybe it was the room.
I would like to purchase the Vintage Classic Gold SP XV with the 15" driver. Bass won't be an issue. I do think "the room" was an issue at Axpona. Quintessence Audio had their system kind of out in the open. Very weird placement.
Honestly, I like the way the Klipsch Cornwall IV sounds, but don't care for the build quality. I know the Fyne XV is significantly more money but is built MUCH better than the Klipsch - not even a comparison.
sunshdw - I reached out to Upscale. Nothing "special" as far as a price. Like I stated, these are as much as small car so I’m hoping for a bit more than a 10% off deal. Where I’m located, the closest Fyne dealer is in Chicago and I’m NOT a fan, so I’m not even bothering.
