Stock jumpers are often junk. The first Audiophile Law I wrote, published at Dagogo.com many years ago, was about replacing jumpers. One of the first things I did when I bought Magnepan speakers was get rid of the horrid jumpers. High quality jumpers can be made to order by many cable manufacturers. You will note distinct sonic differences between copper and silver; easy way to tune rig.
For your information
For all you McIntosh ma6900 owners..... maybe I'm the late one to the party but if you haven't replaced your factory amp-preamp jumper with a good interconnect it really makes a big difference. Again maybe I was slow to figure it out, but if you haven't done it please do. You will be glad you did!
