Since I’m talking potential here as I have not tried an M-Scaler in my system. But I would think with the Dave, having analog outputs, is where you’re hearing the big difference. The output stage would benefit the most from a power supply upgrade from my experience.
I truly miss my Dave I may have to buy a used one again.
