Episode ES-500-AW-8 outdoor speakers

Does anybody have any experience with these or currently have them?  I've been listening outside A LOT lately and I recently came across these while searching the web.  Please share your thoughts.
Thanks!

Episode seems to sell mainly to installers, which is probably why you’re not getting any responses here.  I came across them while doing some research for a friend whose installer was pushing Episode speakers, and they seemed pretty decent (depending on the price you can get them for) although I haven’t heard them yet.  Aperion sells a pair of outdoor speakers for $244/pr that probably sound pretty good (but are more comparable to the AW-6), and they offer excellent customer service.  Best of luck.
Thanks, Soix.   I was reading the same as you.  I was hoping maybe someone had them here.   I've seen them up front and they look fantastic.  Solid product.   But of course i wanna know how they sound compared to some of the popular offerings.
They are a solidly built product with good performance.

From a performance standpoint, the Near LB6/LB8 are the best weatherproof speakers I've ever seen and used.
Paradise, thanks for the info.  They look great.  I wish i could hear both the Nears and the Episodes.  I've seen the Episodes up close. If they sound as good as they look, they should be astounding. I think I'm ready to upgrade my old Kickers 6000s.
Paradigm has great Outdoor Speakers and are on sale through August 31st 2020.

The Stylus are conventional, mountable outdoor speakers (in black or white) that are similar in shape and size to what you are presently looking at with Episode, but we also have Rocks, and Landscape style speakers that can cover any type of outdoor environment to suit your needs and/or lifestyle.

Thanks,
Chris
Paradise:  no dice on my closest dealer.  He's about 7 hours away. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Not sure how far south you are, but if you go to this link and put in your zip code, you can expand the range with the slider and there will be a lot of Dealers pop up all along the coast.  Some are custom only dealers with no showroom, and some are traditional retail.

The southern most Dealer with whom I'm the most familiar with is Dynamic Sound Systems in Carlsbad.
