I was having some trouble in finding some after market feet / footers for my Wilson Benesch Square 5 speakers. The ones that were currently on these speakers just seemed not to be in line with the way these speakers were built and the build quality of the parts used. A fellow Audiogon'er ( david _ten ) had sent me an email indicating that Dan at EdenSound is one of the best at making these and that I should contact him to see if he could help me. It seems that Wilson Benesch uses, and pardon me for my lack of knowledge and terminology, some very different and complex threading / spacing in the way they machine their feet / footers. Dan and I had several conversations and eventually sent me a prototype to make sure it would work. It did and unbeknownst to me, he had to buy this special bit that would match the Wilson Benesch's threading in order to make my feet / footer/s for my speakers. This cost was not passed on to me by the way as he had already quoted me a price and was true to his word. I received the feet / footers last week and they are and engineering marvel and absolutely beautiful to look it. The best of all …..they fit and work perfectly ! The feet / footers that he made give my speakers now a rock sold foundation and took away that last bit of any grain and sound wonderful. If you are looking to improve on the current feet / footer's that you have on your speakers no mater what the cost your speakers were, give Dan a call at EdenSound as you will not regret the call. I certainly have not …...stay well everyone.
I've had great success with their Terracone footers under preamps, DACs, etc and Bear paws on the amp stand that my woodworkin' wife made for me! Good stuff, fairly priced. Cheers,
Yup.....great guy ....wonderful work. He made me BearPaws for my VPI rim drive....a major upgrade...cleaned the lows, mids, highs, and everything in between.
I was looking for quality footers for my Tannoy Canterbury’s. On @david_ten recommendation, I reached out to Dan at EdenSound. Nothing but a pleasant experience so far, he made couple of recommendations based on my requirements. Will post again, once I receive my footers. Thank you David!
