Does other Audiogon members' opinion carry any weight for you ?

Love this forum, although I am firmly against deleting messages. We should let everyone see the "warts and all" thoughts of our more poorly informed denizens.

The delicate sensibilities of some are easily bruised.

I would just like to see a filter where members could, for themselves only, filter out other members posts. Not delete messages. They should be visible to anyone that wants to see them. So a personal thing. Some of us are sick of the political BS on both sides of the aisle by members with no self control.

This board has changed a lot in the last 5 years, not to mention the last 25 years and IMHO a lot of the most strident newbee voices come across as misinformed, and uneducated, IMHO, and YMMV.

I do have a mental filter for some members who comment here daily and have gone on insane and revolting  tirades that insulted about 70% of the world population. I wonder if they would speak to their children or neighbors like that....
