The dropout is on the master tape. I say that because the Verve and the MoFi were mastered and pressed separately.

Recently purchased the MoFi version and the Verve original in an oversight. BOTH have a dropout on song 3 “Did’n You around the 0:58 mark. Both discs look mint with no marks whatsoever.
