Contact Dynavector directly.  I was told 50% about two years ago - things may have changed.

My friend just traded in a $2000.00 XX-2. The dealer gave him $500.00 off . I think that 50% is wishful thinking!

I think ill try the 50% trade in , but if not the other.

.That's something to think about when considering a new cartridge,

the cost of re-tipping or trade in should be considered in the  "TOTAL COST"  of a new cartridge.

They actually have a trade-in program where they will give up to 50 % towards the purchase of a new cartridge.
