Connecting TV, Integrated Amp and CD/DVD Player

I'd appreciate the collective wisdom of the group.  Just got a new TV and plan to connect it to my integrated amplifier with HDMI eARC..  I also have an Oppo BDP-105 that I use to play CDs and want to be able to play DVDs with it.  It's connected to the amp with HDMI also.  What do I need to do to connect the Oppo to the TV?

For reference, the integrated amp is an Advance Paris A10 Classic, and the TV is a TCL Q7 series.

Thanks in advance.

I’d look for an HDMI splitter that would give you two HDMI outputs from your Oppo and run one into the amp and the other into an HDMI input on your TV.  Not sure but seems like this should work.

I would plug your Oppo into one of the TV's HDMI inputs and use the HDMI output from your TV to your Integrated. The TV will pass through any of the TV’s input’s digital signal to the out HDMI input in your amp. Then you can control your amp's volume with your TV's remote. This also lets the TV do the HDMI switching if you have more then one source.

I similarly use an apple 4k TV box into my TV’s HDMI input and run the HDMI out from the Tv to my Mac Preamp's E-Arc (HDMI) input. Now I can control everything from the Apple TV's remote.

The Oppo has two HDMI outputs. Did you try connecting the other one to an HDMI input on the TV? That would be the best. TV as a video monitor. Integrated amplifier for audio. (TV volume turned all the way down when you want to use the amp for audio.)

Thanks for all the responses.  Much appreciated!  I think I am going to run a separate HDMI from the Oppo to the TV and see how it works out.  TV volume comes through the amp, so I suspect I'll be okay on that front.
