Classe Model 4 and Model 25

Looking at vintage Classe gear, and would appreciate input from anyone familiar with the models noted.  Market value comments would be helpful as well.

I can't comment on the preamp, however I do have a Model Ten amplifier and it is very nice.  It makes any speaker I run off of it just sing. That amplifier family is one heck of a performance bargain now, IMO.

I’ve owned the model 4. I had it paired with a Classe power amp and the combination was very nice! I doubt that you would go wrong with it!!
@Paradisecom, @yogiboy,
Thanks for your comments. Yogiboy, could you elaborate on the phono stage a bit, perhaps how it compared with other preamps?
@pickindoug
The phono stage was better than the Threshold FET 2 that owned before the Classe. BTW, the power amp that I used with the model 4 was a Classe model 15. Make sure that the model 4 includes a phono stage. There was a line only version . I sold the Classe gear about 15 years ago!

Great info - thanks!  I know this is mid 90s gear, so it may need a little bench time.  Main concern is resale if it doesn't sound better than what I've already got in place.

Currently using an SP3a1 and a variety of vintage power amps, both tube and solid state.  Depends on the speakers in play.  I would assume the 25 is a better power amp than what I've got, but I had an HK Sig 1.5 from the Madrigal factory circa 2000 that was not competitive with what I kept.  Running Maggies, Thiels, and Altec 604, depending upon the mood, music, and the day.  Also have some vintage electrostats in rebuild that will like lots of power when done.
