Cerious Technologies NEW Graphene Cables

Now, this is not a advertisement, just a posting sharing my experience on some well made great sounding cables at a very reasonable price. Besides, I don't think Cerious Technologies is set up for a big influx of cable orders.

But, if you get the chance to try these cables, please do.

I have been interested in the newer cables coming out that are using Graphene as a conductor. SR cables seemed interesting, but I always hated the way there cables had all those extra wires (with the active shields and such). I then noticed an ad early in I think November or December from Cerious Technologies for Graphene cables. I investigated how the cables were assembled and it seemed like quite a laborious process.

I ordered (with a 30 day money back guarantee) the balanced Graphene interconnects, and boy did they impress me. Such depth, soundstage, realism, frequency smoothness, effortless sound. I was truly impressed!  I now have a complete loom of the Cerious Technologies Graphene cables. That is; interconnects, speaker cables, digital cables and power cords.

I ended up selling all of my other cables and to those of you who have read my postings know that cables have always been my curiosity.

So, as I began this post, let me again iterate, I have no alliance to the company, my posting is for those of you looking for an great alternate high quality Graphene made cable without spending a fortune.

ozzy i was the one who posted that on What's Best thanks for linking it, I have no affiliation with Cerious either just a satisfied customer. Bob Grost sent me that pdf after I ordered his speaker cables in case I was curious about how they are made. I originally started out with the prior Nano-Reference cables, Bob closed a bunch out here as he was about to release the Graphene line and I picked up a pair of interconnects and was very impressed. I subsequently bought a bunch of his Nano Signature power cables after buying my first and finally hearing a power cable that seemed to make an appreciable difference. I've since them upgraded to the Graphene's I have pretty much a full loom except for one Nirvana digital cable I'm still using. I really think these are great sounding cables and with Bob's direct to consumer pricing, a really excellent value. Plus he's been great to deal with, he has on two separate occasions reterminated cables for me at no charge. I highly recommend anyone giving Cerious cables a try.
@rgrost  Thanks for jumping in Bob I know how busy you are these days! And the Graphene digital was a great addition!
kavakat1 this addy has worked for me   rgrost@cerioustechnologies.com plus you can message Bob through the Audiogon system just click on his name in this thread.
If anyone was wondering how great Bob is to deal with, this past Friday I had a banana connector on one of my Graphene speaker cables snap off in the binding post of my speaker. I'm pretty sure it was moved by some cleaning folks and overly stressed. I asked Bob about fixing it and he told me just send them back and he's re-terminating them with spades at no charge and is paying for the return shipping. Amazing service from a guy that really cares about his customers.
@geoffkait  in his post the OP clearly says Graphene, and that's correct about the earlier Nano cables and and pretty sure the conductor was sealed inside a nano tube as well. The Graphene's have all of those elements plus Graphene suspended in the liquid ceramic slurry.
Just got my speaker cables back from Bob re-terminated and my new digital cable that now makes my entire signal chain Graphene Extreme and my power cables are all Nano Signature. Things are sounding great here!
ozzy I got a Graphene Extreme RCA digital cable 1m so now I have 2 one goes from my Sonos to my W4S Remedy and the other from the Remedy to my Yammie Dac. Sounding better then ever!
Guys as stated above Bob is basically a one man operation but don't worry he is utterly reliable and responsive. And indeed it seems this thread has contributed to a, much deserved in my opinion, uptick in order for Bob. Knowing him he will probably chime in here on the subject soon enough.
As Bob says he re-terminated my speaker cables for free and got them back to me in a week AND didn't charge me for the work or for shipping! This is a great guy who cares about his customers!
Maxima95 the Cerious website was setup before they started selling direct so that's why its hard to order from there. I would recommend sending Bob a message through the Audiogon system and see if he responds quicker. He's posted in this thread so you can find his username if you page up. Good luck!
lak I use GE RCA all throughout and they beat Kimber KCAG and AZ Silver Reference II in my system. To me they were quieter, with more intensity and tonal saturation to the music, with certainly subjectively deeper bass but also extended highs. Blacker backgrounds and greater transparency were apparent as well. Actually I should say that was the experience going from the aforementioned cables to Bob's Nano References, the GE just built on those same strengths.
Something I wanted to throw out there, seems like this thread has attracted a lot of attention for the use of Graphene in the cables, but I think that sort of misses the point. Yes materiel's are important and better and better stuff is available through advances in technology. But what makes Bob's cables so good is not the Graphene, it's the overall design, graphene playing a supporting role in this. It seems like I keep seeing posts just about graphene and to a certain extent I could care less about graphene per se, just give me a well designed product from a good designer. And Bob and his cables certainly fit the bill. Not trying to start an argument or fight of any kind it's just my perspective.
" At Cerious we have a background in Reactive ballistic armor which reacts to bullet strikes to "cancel" them out. Each GE power cord has a reactive jacket. If you REALLY want to have fun (I cannot believe I just said that...) I would love some customers that have GE power cords in their systems......... "
Ok who else was sure Bob's next words were going to be "Grab a shotgun..." :p
Calloway very nice well done and thoughtful review thank you for all your time and energy!
Bob yes indeed congrats on your daughters nuptials and I am sure you were and are  a very proud poppa!
ozzy and kclone I would concur as good as the interconnects are, and they are really great cables, the speaker cables are truly special. I can't imagine a better sounding speaker cable anywhere near the price point or many times higher. I also love my nano-reference power cables for me the first power cable that truly made me a believer, but I've not heard the GE power cables as of yet. Quite happy with the mix of nano and GE I am running now.
So I have an extra Cerious GE 1m digital RCA cable, my reclocking device died on me so running my streamer straight into my DAC. I was going to post an ad but before I do if someone here wants it shoot me a pvt message and we can work out a fair deal. If you want a non-working Wyred4Sound Remedy reclocker free as well let me know its just taking up space in my closet.
@csmgolf Definitely try the power cables they are what got me first hooked on Bob's cables. I has tried various pc's and was just not a believer until I got my first Nano Sig pc and it blew me away and totally changed my thoughts on power cords. Still running the Nano sig power cables in my system and I can imagine how good the GE's are, I have GE everything else.
So here is what I don't understand, where is he getting his prices? Pretty sure the GE speaker cables are like $650 for 8 ft and interconnects are like $2-300 for 1M. Sounds like value priced cables to me not  $5-700 for entry level or $4000. And @maplegrovemusic 2what's wrong with folks describing what they hear even if it is more bass? Try listening before you denigrate peoples personal opinions.
And to further clarify that is two conductors per channel or four total, one each for positive and negative on both channels.
I have a pdf Bob sent me once of the making of a GE speaker cable, I posted it here:
http://www.whatsbestforum.com/showthread.php?19311-The-Making-Of-A-Cerious-Technologies-Graphene-Ext...
Basically its a silver/copper 8 gauge proprietary alloy bundled with carbon fiber that's been impregnated with graphene  and liquid ceramic. There's more so check it out it's an interesting read with photos.
@tommylion to me I would rank:

1. Speaker Cables
2. PC's
3. Digital
4. Interconnects
In terms of efficacy and bang for the buck. All are good but to me the SC and PC's are both really special.
@jmcgrogan2 first of all sorry dude just calling it as I see it ;) And glad to hear you are recovered and doing well that's great. If you do try the speaker cables let us know what you think of them. And @audiolabyrinth  glad to help and I hope you end up liking them.
@michelzay in a previous post Bob said he uses OEM plugs made by Oyaide, hence the resemblance.
@calloway I agree 100% Bob helped me out a few times also he is a pleasure to deal with and a very nice man. Not to mention a hell of an engineer.
@ozzy On the subject of banana connectors versus spades you may want to reconsider, I went all banana connectors on my speaker cables despite Bob strongly recommending spades. Sure enough a banana sheared off from the weight of the cables on the speaker end, monitors on stands. Bob being who he is naturally re-terminated the cables with spades at no charge and got them back to me in  a week. Just a cautionary tale these are heavy cables. Good luck!
Bob congratulations and I wish much happiness to you and your lovely new wife! Enjoy your well deserved time off!
jeffrey75 thanks for coming back and clearing that up and I read your post before you deleted it and thought it was fine. But I understand your reluctance to mix it up being new. Bob stop replying to this thread and make more cables! Faster! :p
@thankful  I use the Graphene Extreme digital coax between my Aries Mini and Yamamoto Dac and it sounds fantastic. It handily beat the Nirvana digital cable I was using previously. That's the only cable I compared it against but all of Bob's cables sound great to my ears.
To add to the discussion I also think to a certain extent adding the first of Bobs power cables is a wow moment. As you accumulate them in your system the improvements become more subtle. I am running 3 Nano Sig cords first one on my preamp was a wow, next on my dac was more like aaaaah, last on my power conditioner was yes that's a bit better. Obviously as always YMMV.
ptss as far as I can figure out every one of your posts here and on other threads are to troll. Why not just leave us be to enjoy what we like?
I used to have AZ Silver Reference interconnects in my system and I would say the Cerious cables are markedly better in my system.
