Can the Acurus A200 amp drive the Magnepan LRS+ ?

Does it have enough power and current to wake the hungry LRS+?
It will be used a Rogue RP-1 pre amplifier.

Yes! But get a sub and cross it over at 60hz to relieve some of the strain on the LRS. Better bass will be the result.

Should be fine.  My brother has the same Amp driving a pair of 85dB sen speakers and it does so no problem.  Plenty of power . Those are good amps.

About 20 years back, I ran an all Magnepan 7 channel with subs system and I had an Acurus A125x5 running low end on my 3.5R’s. I had Levinson 23.5 for highs. It was glorious. 2.5R at sides and 1.6 for rears. Balance of amplification was SimAudio Moon 2 channel. Processing by Lexicon. Miss it deeply.

So I’ve done it it full range on 2.5R and bass for 3.5R with 125wpc from one 5 channel Acurus amplifier. You are very safe here.

Wow! That was indeed a great commitment: 7 channels Magnapan!

Thanks for sharing and recommending the Acurus :)
