Cable for Transport to Dac

No preference it depends on the equipment and cable. That being said BNC is basically a superior version of spdif so should be better than RCA.

110 Ohm XLR (AES/EBU) but get something good $500+ and don't forget a decent power cord.

Be sure to use a cable 1.5 meters or longer! Shorter cables can have reflections that can cause distortion. I use a 2 meter cable from transport to DAC.

I have only worked with RCA Cables throughout the period of time I have had a CDT > DAC as a Source.

OCC Silver and OCC Copper and Mapleshade Ribbon have been used as the COAX Umbilical.

There has also been a Silver Cable used that was a custom cable builders bespoke design and was claimed to have been quite an expensive Cable to purchase, this was a loaned Cable from a friend.

The Mapleshade Ribbon had proved itself in favour off all others tried and was my in use choice for a long period of time.

Last year I introduced a D.U.C.C Wire Cable and after a period of time and reintroducing the Mapalshade's, the D.U.C.C had proved itself as the most attractive and has become the main used Cable.
