Borresen Loudspeakers

Had the opportunity to attend the launch event of the Borresen X1 loudspeakers last night in Chicago @nextlevelhifi with @jays_audio_lab. From their M6 at $550k per pair all the way down to the newly launched X1 speakers last night at $5500 your ears will smile. Amazing what a 4.5” driver can do. If you are in the market for any price range speaker about $5,000 and up you have to hear these. Imaging is 3 dimensional, larger than life soundstage and just absolutely stunning performance with a look that will fit any room. This manufacturer out of Denmark really gets it and I don’t care what price point you are looking at these speakers will out perform speakers double the price.  If you are buying speakers up to $25k you have to hear their $11k option.  The rep for Borresen is hitting all the shows/events over the next several months in the US. Oh, and by the way, I loved the X1 so much I bought the first pair that will ship to me in early March!

Dear Friend and Audiophile colleague,

It is evident at this point this is a massive misunderstanding.

When we replied to your first message where you called AGD into question, I have tried to be sure we were talking about the same thing, unsuccessfully, I guess.

I did in my original reply, by adding a sort of joke (referring to the one person in our team that has created our agdproduction.com website) and asking for your "understanding" in case of a not "superlative" quality job in the creation of our website by this individual in charge of the task (a very very close member of my family).

Because I wanted to be sure we were not caught in a twisted misunderstanding, I asked specifically to you and @triode12, if you were actually referring to AGD as "Audio Group Denmark " or to AGD as AGD Productions, Inc. (meaning us).

Audio Group Denmark is a completely different company, they are the holding company, in Denmark, that controls various brands.

We are AGD Productions, Inc. we are in California, and we are specialized in GaN base MOSFET  ClassD amps and other things.

Unfortunately, then @triode12 made full evidence he did not understand our reply, and very quickly, rudely and impolitely, stated we should have sent that person (a very very close member of my family) to a training, so he/she would have learnt how to make a better website. Because of the tone and content of that answer, we were compelled to reply again and making sure his style in expressing opinions was not appreciated.

Bottom line, now all is clear, you are referring to the Audio Group Denmark's website.

I suggest at this point to send your comments to their support team.

Regards

AGD Productions, Inc.

@triode12

Do you have some tangible examples, possibly expressed free of stupidly arrogant and baseless statements,  of what do you find difficult to locate on our website?

We are open to listen all suggestions and recommendations to improve on our activities, as long as expressed with respect and courtesy.

If you are not capable of that or feel yourself to be too smart for such a simple exercise, we are more than happy not to have you using our site or considering our products.

We are proud to serve an high quality level of Audiophiles, now customers and friends.

Have a good day.

A rambunctious li'l guy, you are eh? Scolding guys on a public forum when you have wares to peddle/sell could affect your sales negatively. You should simmer down and focus more on pleasing everyone/kissing A whilst in the midst of peddling your wares to the Agon crowd, comprende? 😁

@aw-agd
Why on earth would we be referring to your company's website in a Borresen Speakers forum thread?Can you not read the heading of this thread?!!

Both @woots and I assumed too that you were Audio Group Denmark's Audiogon forum alias.

Your over reaction to what I wrote is a clear indication that you need to attend a course in customer service skills. Thankfully you have admitted your dumb mistake otherwise, I would have attributed your lack of customer service skills to the Audio Group Denmark - the owners of the Borresen speaker company - of whose speakers this thread is discussing.

woots: Any idea when your X1 are supposed to make it to the States? I heard first batch of X1s is at the end of March or beginning of April.

@gandalf originally was told early March but I’m a realist when it comes to new production so I’m thinking sometime early April.  I’m sure @nextlevelhifi wants to be demoing and shipping these at the Axpona event in Chicago in April.  Did you order a pair as well?
