Basic switch....should I upgrade?

@wsrrsw  Exciting yes!  I hope it is worth it.  Yes Marcin's English is so good it made me wonder if I had the right guy!  :)  I have an HDPLEX linear power supply with two outputs (two rails I think)  One powers my Nucleus+ and the other powers my switch.  Marcin first recommended I put the M12 directly in front of my Auralic Streamer.  But when I clarified that I already had a switch where I needed a switch, he recommended putting it there - connecting my modem to my Nucleus and my two audio room runs.  I will need to connect the M12 using their special cables to my longer runs with two of their NET Isolators.  My longer runs to each room are standard Amazon Cat 7 cables.

Small update. Been using the Telegartner M12 Gold for several years with an English electric switch. My other system uses a Network Acoustics Muon pro w/ the same switch. I have tried both on each system and can’t hear a difference.  When no “filter” is used I hear a bit less clarity. YMMV. After more than a ten year climb I agree that all in the digital chain matters.

And you have what are reported to be the most resilient DAC's regarding switches and filters. 

@mclinnguy I’ll bite. Some DAC’s are more able than others to withstand poor Ethernet or poor data in? (My house comes complete with poor power and no decent internet untill Starlink.) If you’re complaining my equipment, then of course your’e a gentleman and fender Rhodes scholar. 

Rising up to the top of my "next itch to scratch" list is the Tempus. 30 day trial -I really hope I have good ethernet, if you know what I mean. But after trying the "cheap" smoothlan and being in disbelief as to what this little thing did, on top of the etherregen, I expect I will be out some more money. I will echo your all in the digital chain matters quote.
