Found and inherited, respectively. Are these compatible? I’ve seen posters say the 803 S2s need 200 wpc. I don’t need huge volume (small spaces) but I don’t want to damage the speakers. Grateful for any advice!
Bees and Mac was always classy, but would indeed go for high-powered Mac with 200+Wpc even if you don't want to listen loud. They need some current even at moderate volumes.
They will not be damaged using less power. A 200wpc amp actually sounds only twice as loud as a 20wpc amp on musical peaks.Ten times the power equals twice the perceived loudness.
