I use an Ayre QX-5, KX-5, VX-5 Twenty series with KEF Reference 1s augmented by a pair of Velodyne HGS-15s below 80 Hz and high-passed by a Marchand balanced passive filter. The QX-5 Twenty serves as a Roon endpoint; a DX-5 DSD plays discs. I think the setup sounds superb.
