I’ve visited their site many times. Its nice that they have JBL, Electrovoice and ESS parts, but when I look at the quality and selection outside of that, I’ve been disappointed. They do have assembled crossovers, but at their quality level, they are a bit high in price. The drivers (tweeters, Midrange and woofers) that they stock are on the lower quality side and also a bit overpriced. No separate caps or coils.
Sorry to chime in this way, but that’s what I’ve seen, But, very nice that you’ve had such a positive experience that you wanted to share. Amazon Prime Sunday night would have gotten you the order yesterday.
Sorry to sound crude.... Its nice that you are happy with your experience.
Overall, I've had the best experience with Parts Express, I've had product issues that where handled with integrity.  I've had good shipping experience with Madisound, but once had the worst, rudest customer service rep taking care of me,  so bad that I asked for a supervisor, it ended up being the owner dealing with me, so I no longer order from them... Parts Connection out of Canada does a good job also.

At Madisound all are part owners since madisounds employee owned.  As far as rude by reading in a bit to your post above you may be a bit of a abrupt person and it could be that the experience you received from the nice Midwestern folks at madisound was a reflection of what you put out.
Ha, LOL, Well thanks John. Actually I was purchasing tweeters, another set was being pushed on me, since being pushed, I asked for a discount. He hung up on me. When I called back, the employee was very apologetic and told me that it was the owner that I was speaking with and he can’t stand being negotiated with and gets temperamental about it (his words). But it is very nice of you to assume that the I was the culprit causing the problem with the nice folks at Madisound.
@johnk
Did you buy multiple units? think min for discounts 10.  Are you a retailer or manufacturer? If not demanding a discount because you think they pushed a tweeter pair on you is good reason to hang up on you.         Most likely tweeters suggest were best available option for your application and you misunderstood. Madisound does not hard sell you had to call them and ask for help and I am sure Brain was doing just that. But one is free to vote with $ I just thought that there was more to your story.
I bought a klipsch oem replacement and it looked identical, so..... thanks again  SS
geez John,  your coming on strong defending Madisound…. First, it happened as I said.  You first told me it couldn't be THE owner because Madisound is employee owned,  Now its Brian.  I asked for a specific pair of  tweeters.  He clearly wanted to sell me another.  I simply asked for a reason to switch other than him wanting me to, and asked for a price concession.  As Brian is temperamental over people asking for discounts.  I'm getting that way right now over you trying to change my story and defend someone else on a story that you know nothing about.  Your conjecture is not welcomed in my VERY TRUE example that happened. You've been on enough threads with me to challenge my speaker building knowledge,  I understood my application and quite frankly, his suggestion was not as good for my application.
To oddiofyl,  I apologize,  my intent was not to steal your thread, but simply chime it.  I'm happy that you had a great purchase experience.
To add a good experience.  I recently purchased a couple of new Dayton Reference domes at a great introductory price.  They were out of spec from each other too much for my taste,  but I wanted to play with them anyway.  I removed the ferro fluid and worked on their chamber... I got a email asking for a review, rather than a review, I sent an email telling them what I found with the tweeters. To my surprise, I received a call, I told them I can't return them because of the modifications that I was making.  The sent me a second pair at a very nice discount along with Free shipping.... I couldn't be happier.
My experience was not so good.  I sent them a car speaker in which the surround had separated from the cone to repair.  Whatever they did to it, the repair did not last long, and the cone once again became detached from the surround.  I ended up sending it to Miller Sound for the same repair.  Miller Sound fixed it properly and it was fine when I sold the car about 14 months later.
