Audirvana Studio Remote on iPad does not connect to MAC

I have the Audirvana Studio App on my MAC computer and it is hardwired to the Internet. I have the Audirvana Studio Remote installed on my iPad and it uses Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet.

When I use the Audirvana Studio remote (iPad), it does NOT connect to the Audirvana Studio App running on my MAC (hardwired). I rebooted all devices and reinstalled all software. It still failed to connect.

Apple Customer Support confirmed all my settings were correct. They saw no reason why it would not connect and referred me to Audirvana support.

I posted this question on an Audirvana forum but have not received a response yet. Note: When I change my MAC from a hardwired connection to Wi-Fi, the iPad connects perfectly.

Does anyone know why my Audirvana Studio remote app running on my iPad, connected using Wi-Fi will not connect to the Audirvana Studio App running on my MAC that is hardwired to the Internet?

My above connectivity issue is closed. My iPad, running Audirvana Studio remote, connects perfectly to my Apple MacBook 12-Core CPU computer running Audirvana Studio. I use the iPad to control the computer App because it is faster and easier for me to use. I have no issues!

BTW, the Audirvana Studio App’s interface is outstanding. It is very easy to use, has many sorting options and is fairly intuitive to use. Most important is my sound quality is excellent. I have not used the App’s audio settings yet because I need more time to understand them and how they work.

Why do the 2 have to interface with each other?  Do you have stored on files on one device that you are trying to play with the other?

I was also told “it’s because wired connections take priority over wifi for data transport. It looks like your wifi is on a shielded subnet from your wired ethernet”.

I am not sure what this means. In any, everything is working since my devices are all using Wi-Fi.
