Thanks, mariddock. I have one of the best. (Amazing the difference cables make!! I've also found that vibration dampeners make a huge difference.) Cheers!
Audiolab 9000cdt vs Audiolab 6000cdt vs Teac 505t
Can anybody compare any of these to each other? I’m working with a 2002 Vecteur L4 being used as a transport, and I’m wondering about one of these as a potential replacement. I haven’t heard any of them, but I have read all I can find. Anybody actually heard any of these and willing to share your observations? TIA

@tpcarter responding to your question about the 9000CDT and the Atoll DR200 Signature: I would definitely buy the Atoll without any hesitation. It is a superior machine, designed to the best performance well beyond the price, as all the Atoll products. |
@oddiofyl how do you like the Teac? I did not have much luck with Pro-Ject or Bel- Canto. |
I love it. It sounds great with my DAC and it sounds solidly built when loading a disc and skipping tracks. Dead quiet when spinning discs. Remote is good , not great. Solid but hard to see if I don't have readers on. I got a Sofabaton X1S remote and learned the 701t commands along with my other gear. I was long overdue for a replacementfor my Harmony remote . Display is nice. Can auto off and dim via remote Also has an adjustable timer for Auto Off / Standby. A great feature. Menu is good. Can enable MQA not that you'll probably ever own any discs , but it outputs 88.2k with CDs when you do. Solid build quality. 22 lbs. So far so good and I somehow received what appears to be serial number 00001. Music Direct has a good price on these now
