You can try Audiocom on Sound Beach (no kidding!) Ave. Old Greenwich. They've been around for a long time. Accent on Music in Mt. Kisco, NY are very nice. Heavy into Lynn, Rotel, British lines. Also, Toys from the Attic is in White Plains, NY.
Audiocom has recently moved their store to greenwhich ave. Check them out there instead... but i didnt think they carried revels.
Ohhh hahahaha i thought it said revel salons ... yes audiocom is great albeit expensive .... they are halfway down the avenue
There is also 'Listening Room' in Scarsdale (very close to White Plains) and Harvey Electronics in Greenwich.
If you are going to White Plains you MUST go to Toys From the Attic, Mario and his crew are second to none! Great people, and fair pricing- in this hobby it doesn't get any better then that. They are members here there moniker is Tfta get in touch with them and hear what they have to say. ~Tim
I can't say enough good things about Toys From The Attic!! Not only do they carry great lines, they are truly about the hobby. Mario, Jim, Bill and the rest of the staff will give you great advice and a great listening experience. I have been to all of the rest mentioned. Your quest should start and end in White Plains.
"Toys in the Attic" in white plains ny. is a great place for new and used gear.they share a lot of their knowledge with you,and are very professional.
Whatever happened to Audiocom after moving to Greenwich Ave.? I heard that they later moved to Norwalk, CT. Are they still in business? I worked in the Old Greenwich store back in 1978! Thanks!

You guys in New England-

from above, are these Audio shops still around? Any new shops since 2002?

Happy Listening!

I'm not sure how far you are willing to travel, but Take 5 Audio in New Haven is top notch. Same location since 1977.
Toys from the Attic and Lyric Hi-Fi, both of which were in White Plains, have closed.
Audiocom is now called Realm. Still in Norwalk but now much more into whole home or business solutions as far as design and control of anything such as audio, lighting etc.
I lived in Greenwich and loved to go the shop on Sound Beach
