Audio Mirror or Line Magnetic- DAC Choice

I have only heard the LM DAC. Anyone familiar
with these two? I want an R2R DAC with Tube
to $2,500 max.

Thanks for the correction on the LM as a non R2R dac.
It was my understanding that even a R2R DAC could use a chip?

My message was intended for the original  poster and not you. No worries.
I didn't catch that the LM was not R2R. Still it seems like a well built DAC. Not that I feel the need. I love my AM DAC.
You state you want a R2R DAC. Well, the Line Magnetic is not a R2R DAC. It uses a Sabre delta-sigma chip instead.
I am also an owner of the AM Tubadour III. Excellent DAC made in the USA.

Must say the LM DAC looks interesting, not heard it though their products are well made.
I have never heard the LM but can speak directly to the Audio Mirror Tubadour III.  I started out with a Node 2i and after a lot of research, including here on Audiogon, I landed on the Audio Mirror.  It is highly regarded by many here and I'll add my voice to the list.  It sounds amazing.

Others may be able to speak to the LM but wanted to give my two thumbs up for the AM.

Best,
Mike
