Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?

For me there is one that has always been top of the list.

Edith Piaf…..l just can’t think of anything worse.

Do not get me wrong and consider my choice is in any way racist….l love to listen to music with songs in any language… Italian, French, Spanish…..

Russian and German can however be extremely demanding, but Edith Piaf (if possible in any language) is a potential harrowing experience.

Do any others on here have a similar artist, or artists that can trigger the same physical reaction?

Thank you… that video is so cool. I can place the singer and the song now. 🎶

Was the girl a jumping Jack rabbit breeder?

She certainly looks like she is housing or transporting two in her T shirt.

As far as fame goes, she didn’t make out quite as good as Courtney did, but if you are interested, here is a bit more on her:

Well, I have admit that the "Sloopy Girl" video is the closest thing to "whacking material" I've seen on an audio forum.

Thanks for sharing.

Be back shortly ...

So yes we know the 1975 “Sloopy Girl” video was staged and there was no attempt to imply otherwise. No conning the public and it is what it is, a pure mimed music video of it’s time with a gyrating wonder nox fluffy flora photogenic beaut.

Now fast forward 10 years……how about U2 and Bono’s off the peg girl dancing on stage during Live Aid, London in 1985? I know he had a habit of doing this sort of thing and with the first two girls it was just his normal show off antics.

l do wonder however if the moment when he “rescued” the girl from the crowd in danger of being crushed was a set up or not. The long hugging in front of the stage apron and kissing on the cheek. Was that pure amateur dramatics or was what we were witnessing a spontaneous event? I know he enjoyed it more than the band as they were a bit pissed and had to just keep strumming along. The resulting publicity stunt and time waste was at the expense of dropping a song from the scheduled play list….their latest hit single.

Was that good deed we witnessed genuine or not?
Was it just pure magic, or a cringeworthy moment?

Anyone?????

What you are saying, @mylogic , is that you prefer choreography that is poorly produced?  Each to his or her own. (And that includes certain sock accounts.)
