Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?

For me there is one that has always been top of the list.

Edith Piaf…..l just can’t think of anything worse.

Do not get me wrong and consider my choice is in any way racist….l love to listen to music with songs in any language… Italian, French, Spanish…..

Russian and German can however be extremely demanding, but Edith Piaf (if possible in any language) is a potential harrowing experience.

Do any others on here have a similar artist, or artists that can trigger the same physical reaction?

Hey guys, I was obviously speaking figuratively when I posted about today's female jazz singers carrying Ella's, Peggys and Doris Days jock strap. Well, it was obvious to most of you.

Also, I genuinely feel bad for anyone that says that they don't like the Beatles.

They are obviously are clueless. Wait, scratch that last comment. It might be true, but I don't care to get attacked by the Beatle haters out there. There is one here and I met only one other in my lifetime. I think we should put both of them in a room and make them listen to "The Long and Winding Road" on an endless loop for all Eternity.

Great reply for my more info request…..and thanks for clearing up the ‘jock strap’ episode..(pun intended)

All the animosity for Springsteen is a condition that was generated by envy . . . many many many years ago it was known as BDS, but Bruce, being the extremely talented and gracious gentleman that he always was and is, put an end to that saying, and it disappeared until the sycophants of you-know-who brought it back into existence

I don't know about that, I enjoyed listening to Bruce Springsteen's 45-minute interview by Teri Gross on NPR and I appreciated his outlook on life, yet I can't bring myself to like his music.

My point being, I guess, about the ability to disassociate the art from the artist.
