I also bought a T778 about a month ago. Once I figured out the whole BluOS system, I decided this weekend to buy a Bluesound Vault 2i to rip all of my 1,000+ CDs and control playback through BluOS.
Ripping takes 8 minutes per each CD, so I've only done about 100 so far. But the HD Tracks I downloaded years ago can be transferred to the Vault over the network, so I am finally getting the true High Rez playback that my Mac Mini could not do through USB.
Anyway, with Dirac the sound is great for both 2 ch. and home theater.
