ARC LS-27 universal remote code set question

Have an Audio Research LS-27 preamp that I love. It's used in my home theater.

I want a programmable universal IR/RF remote that will control this preamp.

I have tried a few, the latest being the Sofabaton U1 and X1, and they almost work, except for the LS-27.

According to ARC, the control code set is not unique and is used on many other manufacturer's equipment.

My thought is to use one of these other pieces of gear as a standard code set and see if these controllers will then operate the LS-27.

Here is my Q: Does anyone know what other piece of gear uses the same code set?

BTW, before you folks jump on the LEARN function, for an unknown reason that doesn't work either with any of the Sofabatons.

Harmony 650/660. They are no longer manufactured but are in stock in many places, including Best Buy.

I bought a Russoind branded remote for $10 in hopes of it learning my preamp codes “head to head” .  The first time I tried it, I had no luck.  It did control my LG TV from its code library

When I tried to learn my preamp functions , I had trouble   I finally got it to learn, I think maybe overhead lighting or the distance between them,  or my technique???? Not sure but it learned everything after trying a third time ….   Sometimes learning is your only recourse
