Anyone tried the "book" speaker from Parts Express

Hi TIC,

I have the Brines downstairs in my home theater in the basement and the Presidians in the garage. The 61 Comet is doing great except the transmission cracked in half on the way to work. I heard a loud "POP", the speedometer went to zero and I saw gear oil flying out the back. Needless to say it's in repair at the moment. I asked for it....I got it. (<:

Petey,

U da man! Do you still have the Presidians and the Brines? If so, you are the King of Speakers!

Oh, and how is the project car coming along?

Enjoy,

Hi TIC

I just bought three pair! But...I have no place to put them as usual.(<: I will give a pair to my father for Fathers Day and keep the other two.

BTW, I heard that they were designed by Roy Allison.
Petey,

Another pair of speakers is exactly what you need! They're on sale, you should buy a couple of pairs.

BTW, I live near PartsExpress and have seen/heard "the Book". They sound pretty good for what they are. I would recommend you buy a pair if you need a pair of ultra-discreet speakers and have a nice bookshelf to place them.

Enjoy,

TIC
I own the books in my bedroom system, dont expect too much but for a cool looking non-critical speaker it is great, wife loves the look in the bedroom.
