Any Near Audiophile Bluetooth Speaker?

I've searched and read many posts on questions somewhat like this one, but not exactly. So, here's what I'm searching for:

  1. Absolutely no - repeat NO booming, pounding, exagerated fake bass. Do not want that at all. JBL's I've heard all have too much fake bass

  2. Midrange clarity - must have - but not piercing, nasty peakiness

  3. At least some treble extension

Don't care about waterproofing, "party mode", or planet Zirkon communication.

Natural sound quality is the most important thing.

Oh - and it's got to cost less than $150.

Is the Anker Soundcore Motion + the answer?

Thanks.

I have a B&O Beosound A1 that is very impressive for its size but its over your budget new.

I also have a "vintage" iPod HiFi (only made by Apple for 1 year) that sounds great but you’d need a BT transceiver as it was designed for the original iPod. I’ve seen these for sale for around $100.

I would not rate these or any BT speaker as 'near audiophile' though.

The Monoprice’s sound good for BT and they stereo pair up w/o s dopey app.

Even better they play without BlueTooth.

you can buy a harman kardon onyx 4 for $140 or so on amazon (orginally $400)--sounds very good
